How it Works. When you stand on the Oscillating Vibration Platform, vertical vibrations are produced with a side-alternating rocking movement, similar to walking. Our body reacts to this natural stimulus with an involuntary reflex muscle contraction. Depending on the speed, muscles will react up to 23 times per second (approximately 11-12 contractions and 11-12 relaxations), and as the acceleration forces increase, your body will feel as though it “weighs” more. This clever technology means you can work against a far greater influence or “load” of gravity in every movement you perform.

Week One: Provided that you are in good health, begin your first session at a low level and increase the speed by 2 each time you visit. We want you to find the speed range where you feel most comfortable working out. Remember, higher speeds, do not always mean quicker results. Ask one of our associates for more information on machine speeds. If you suffer from any type of health issue, consult with one of our associates before beginning. We can help you target your troubled areas to bring relief and health.
Week Two: During week 2, you should find your optimal WBV speed number. You can also try adding a basic squat and the pelvic tilt position this week; just squeeze the buttocks together. You can tense up any part of the body if you would like to target those areas. As you frequent the studio, you may see other members performing advanced positions on the machines. Listen to your body to determine if you are ready for more exercises and consult with one of our associates for assistance.
Week Three: Please let us know when you are on week 3. We’ll introduce the pre-set ten minute programs and customize your workout.
